- This is notice of the Veterans Administration's intent to award a sole source contract IAW FAR 6.302-1 to Fujifilm MED Systems USA INC., 419 W. Ave, Stamford, CT 06902. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source when only one source deemed available. The selected contractor will be required to repair and rebuild 2 Fujifilm XG 5000 CR Readers located at the Phoenix VA Medical Center. Fujifilm MED Systems USA INC., is the offeror identified here as submitting the most advantageous proposal. They have been instructed not to proceed until a contract, or other form of notice is given by the Contracting Officer. The proposed action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the listed items to Fujifilm on/about 1 March, 2013. Classification System (NAICS) Code for this action is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This is not a solicitation for quotation, but rather a notice of the Agency's intent to make a sole-source award to Fujifilm Med System INC USA. There will be no solicitation issued or available. This notice is for information only.
