STATEMENT OF WORK PROJECT 620-11-221 FRONT ENTRANCE ORNAMENTAL SECURITY FENCE BACKGROUND: 1.Furnish and install 500 linear feet of new 8 foot high palisade style fence at Montrose campus of VA Hudson Valley health Care System. 2.This project will enhance security to facility. OBJECTIVES: The project will provide more secure facility.. SCOPE Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, accessories, supervision and all operations required to construct 500 linear feet of new fence. Location has been staked out by VA. Work to include but not limited to, new 8 foot high Fusion welded Black finish Palisade style fence with Three rails, and accessories. concrete footings for fence post, located in dense soil, rock and wet areas, location and markout of underground utilities i.e. buried TELEPHONE COMPANY COMMUNICATIONS CABLE AND ELECTRICAL CABLE within 20'each side of fence line. Perform work specified herein and comply with VA specifications and VA regulations, procedures and conditions for work at the medical center and any applicable codes as per requirements of all governing agencies and other related and ancillary work. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor, prior to bidding this job, to inspect the work site, compare specifications with work to be done and inform themselves as to all existing conditions. Failure to do so will in no way relieve the successful contractor from work that is required to carry out the terms of this contract in accordance with the true intent and meaning of the specification, without additional cost to owner. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is one hundred and ten(110) calendar days after Notice to proceed.. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Location of work is at the front entrance to facility.. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED INFORMATION Contractor will be furnished specifications and drawing for this project. SECURITY Contractor and sub contractor employees will be required to secure facility ID badges from VA Police department at Montrose. The C&A requirements do not apply and that a security accreditation package is not required. SAFETY CODES/CERTIFICATION.LICENSING The specification includes these requirements. TRAVEL Consultant will travel from his place of business to Montrose campus of HVHCS to perform work. REQUIREMENTS UNIQUE TO SOLICITATION NA
