- U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: VA City: Lorton Delineated Area: Within the confines of Northern Virginia and within a 1 mile radius to 10450 Furnace Road, Lorton, VA Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 15,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 20,000 Space Type: Flex Space Parking Spaces (Total): 15 GOV spaces and parking onsite must meet local code for employees Parking Spaces (Surface): 15 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 5 years Firm Term: 2 years, termination rights after 09.30.2015 Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: - Approximately 18,000 ABOA of warehouse space - Approximately 2,000 ABOA of office space. Space must be climate controlled - The warehouse must be climate controlled to allow basic work in the space throughout operating hours. The Government intends to use this information from prospective sources to issue a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP). The required occupancy date is no later than September 11, 2013 (an earlier date is preferred). Whether or not an offered building can meet the required occupancy date is in the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. Buildings offered for consideration must have the ability to meet all current Federal/GSA/PBS, State, and Local codes and regulations including, but not limited to, fire and life safety, handicapped accessibility, OSHA, and seismic protection by the required occupancy date. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease [is] required. Offered space shall not be in the [100] year flood plain. Expressions of Interest must be received via email or in writing no later than 3:30 pm on March 8, 2013, and must include the following information in order to be deemed compliant and be eligible for further consideration: · Building name and address. · Building ownership information. · Space available, it's location within the building and its condition (shell or built-out). · Date of space availability. · Rentable square feet available and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced. · Amount of parking available on-site and its cost - indicate whether the rental rate includes the cost of the required Government parking. · List of building services and amenities provided, if any. The Government's decision regarding whether or not to solicit offers will be based, in part, on complete information received in response to this advertisement. In the event that your response to this ad fails to provide the required information, the Government reserves the right to assume that the building in question cannot meet the Government's requirements.
