- Solicitation for NSN 1005-005703899/ 0048377158, Spool Assembly, Eaton Aerospace LLC (CAGE 62983), part number MC14090. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, please do not submit requests. The only approved source for this item is Eaton Aerospace LLC. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) package. A letter request for proposal (RFP) will be issued for a firm fixed-price quantity of 60 each. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price contract without options. The required delivery schedule is 138 days ARO, FOB origin, inspection/acceptance origin. PPIRS applies; the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors. This is not a critical safety item. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). A copy of this solicitation will only be available to requesters by contacting the buyer directly. The solicitation issue date is March 21, 2013.
