- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Dublin, California, intends to issue a solicitation for bread items. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, will be FOB Destination. Delivery dates will begin March 27, 2013. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Dublin, 5701 8th Street, Camp Parks, Dublin, California. The contract type will be firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be the most adventageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. Faith based and Community based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or after March 7, 2013. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 20, 2013. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov/. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) if the total amount awarded exceeds $30,000.00, otherwise payment will be made using the Goverment Purchase Card. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (formerly the Central Contractor Registration) at http://www.sam.gov/. Federal Acquisition Regulation § 52.212-3 requires vendots to complete their representations and certifications via the on-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database located at the SAM website: http://www.sam.gov/.
