- Certified Food Specifications Solicitation Cover Page Solicitation / RFQ Package This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Safford, Arizona. The Federal Prison intends to make multiple awards for the requirements of: Quarterly Kosher Items- General Line Bulk Grocery Products. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business using NAICS code 424410 under 100 employees. FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin April 1, 2013 and shall be completed by April 20, 2013. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 1529 W. U.S. Hwy 366, Safford, Arizona 85546. The government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The government will make award to the responsible quoter(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, with price and past performance factors considered, price being rated 70% and technical/past performance 30%. The solicitation will be made available on or after March 6, 2012 and will be distributed solely through this Government Point of Entry www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and awards will be distributed through this website. This website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most-up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is on or around December 21, 2012. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quotation. Faith-Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) database prior to any contract awards. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The anticipated date of award is March 28, 2013.
