Description
Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. Install PAPI facilities including: Furnish and install reinforce concrete foundations for the LHAs and for the PAPI rack. Furnish and install gravel maintenance plot around PAPI equipment. Furnish and install Earth Electrode System (EES), Trench and install power cables in 2 PVC concrete incased. Install Government Furnished equipment. Install and maintain erosion control measures to protect ditches and inlets. Uninstall the existing VASI equipment and demolish three foundations (9 x 24 ) Back fill and re-seeds the area. Return all VASI equipment to the resident engineer. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE NAICS - 237990 Estimate price range between $100,000 and $150,000. To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the SAM database (website www.sam.gov) To be place on the mailing list, please submit a request in writing via e-mail to c.o.shepard@faa.gov or fax to (816) 329-3137. The request must include the company name, point of contact address, phone and fax number. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business utilization has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and sub-contractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
