Description
Request for Information Fort Bragg Cost per Copy Requirement 13 March 2013 The Government is requesting information related to digital multifunctional devices in order to understand industry capabilities and interest in the cost per copy requirement. The Government is contemplating the approach for the follow-on cost per copy requirement to contract W91247-09-F-1N02. The current contract vehicle is set to expire on 30 November, 2013 should no additional action be taken. The Fort Bragg area has approximately 2,000 multifunctional devices (MFD's) currently in use. The Government is contemplating a base year plus four (4) one (1)-year option periods. This will include an estimated 90-day phase in period beginning on 2 September 2013. During this 90 day period, it's the Government's intent to have the estimated 2,000 MFD's exchanged. The Government is contemplating utilizing the Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative Print Management Blanket Purchase Agreements through GSA. The Government is also considering if existing machines need to be replaced with brand new machines, or if older models can satisfy the requirement. General Questions: What would be the lead time needed to accommodate a swap out of approximately 2,000 MFD's? What are industry capabilities surrounding the Common Access Card (CAC)/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology? Are these capabilities built into MFD's? The Government is requesting any concerns, thoughts, or interests be expressed via email to Contract Specialist Scott Bertacini at scott.r.bertacini.civ@mail.mil and Contracting Officer Heather D. Clifton at heather.d.clifton.civ@mail.mil. Please title all emails with quote mark RFI Cost per Copy quote mark and your company name. The Government appreciates all responses and MAY post updates to this request for information as industry information is presented. Please provide all comments no later than 5:00 PM, EST, on 20 March 2013.
