All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that are capable of providing milk and dairy products. The contractor will be required to make regular deliveries not less than four (4) days per week, preferably on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If a holiday falls on one of these days, delivery on the holiday shall be made unless prior arrangements have been made with Nutrition and Food Service. All deliveries must be made after 7:00a.m. and completion of all deliveries made by 12:00 p.m. The driver shall place all milk in the refrigerator. Upon delivery, packing slips and products are to be inventoried by a VA ECHCS Nutrition and Food Service employee and signed with the delivery truck driver present. The delivery location is 1055 Clermont St., Denver, Colorado 80220. Deliveries shall also be made one (1) day per week, preferably on Tuesday to the delivery location at 2600 Oakshire Lane, Pueblo, Colorado 81001. Milk and dairy products would include: Fresh white, whole/lowfat/chocolate/butter milk; assorted flavored yogurts, cottage cheese, sherbet and ice cream sandwiches. The information submitted shall contain the company's business size status. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation. This is not a request for proposal (RFP). The VA will not pay for any information received resulting from this sources sought notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged. Information should be forwarded to the Contracting Officer. Any questions should be addressed to the Contracting Officer, in writing, at the email address provided. Because this is a request for information only, answers to questions will not be posted. Each offer is required to complete their presentations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). The System for Award Management (SAM) is online. SAM replaces the CCR system. The website for SAM is www.sam.gov.
