- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Minneapolis VA Health Care System, Minneapolis, Minnesota intends to award a brand name requirements contract in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 17. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 334516, Analytic Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and the size standard is 500 employees. The Minneapolis VA Healthcare System has a requirement for a "Cost-per-Test" or "Reagent Rental" for the Biomerieux MiniVidas, lease agreement to be for a period of 36 months. Vendor to provide an all-inclusive Biomerieux MiniVidas instrument and reagents to perform: Procalcitonin, CMV IgG, CMV IgM, Varicella Zoster, Lyme Testing, H. pylori testing. The Reagent Rental or Cost-per-Test price shall include, at no additional cost, all equipment, installation, reagents, calibrators, controls, columns, consumable supplies (ie. Cups, probes), QC products, linearity testing material, interface (including software and hardware) to the VA Lab package in VA VistA system through Data Innovations, training of end users, and system preventative maintenance (including parts, labor, travel) and all shipping costs, during the term of the agreement to support the instrument that are provided under this contract and required to perform an estimated 360 patients tests per month (4320 patient tests per year). All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 23 Contracting Office, Minneapolis, Minnesota. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome propriety information and compatibility with existing instrumentation.
