Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer question posed by interested parties, provide a cut-off time for submission of questions, and extend the solicitation response time. All quotes must acknowledge all amendments in order to be considered for award. Q1. Is it necessary that the unit accept APC batteries? A1. Yes, the Government requires that the units accept RBC44 batteries. Q2. Do you have excess APC batteries on hand? A2. The requiring activity has a benchstock RBC44 batteries on hand. Q3. Will the Army take possession of the equipment at the place of performance - US Despatch Agent, 555 US Route 1. Iselin, NJ 08830-3179? A3. The Government will take possession of these items upon delivery to the US Despatch Agent in Iselin, NJ, the indicated place of performance. Q4. Will you accept delivery for the Tower/Rackmount UPS at Camp Arifjan Kuwait, or does delivery have to be made in the US? A4. Delivery has to be made in the US as these items have to be in the possession of the US Government throughout the shipping process. This is due to the fact that these items will be utilized in a controlled access area. The cut-off time for submission of questions is 48 hours prior to the closing date of 27 March 2013 at 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The response time for the solicitation is extended until 27 March 2013 at 12:00PM EST.
