- This is a Request for Information (RFI) to purchase punched steel concrete paving forms. Funding is not available for any information or proposals submitted. Submitting Information does not bind the Air Force for any future contracts/grants resulting from this RFI. The findings of this market research effort may impact any future solicitations related to this requirement. This market research is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, and the Government is not requesting offers or proposals at this time. This is a market survey for planning purposes and no award will be made as a result of this sources sought notice. If a solicitation is issued, the Government does not guarantee that it will be issued to the RFI respondents. The Government is also requesting that restrictive or proprietary markings not be used in response to this RFI. The Government is looking for the following items, OR EQUAL: 130 Each - 6" X 8 X ¼" Metapave II Punched Steel Concrete Forms (Part Number 500-900) Salient characterstics for this requirement are as follows: • Stake pockets: (3) Channel design • Dual Duty: 2 for 1 form • End connections(2): Sliding design • Height/Base: Reversible • Strength: ¼" • Standard 10' Lengths • Dual-faced The product mentioned above has proven to be sufficient; however, an equal item may be accepted if it contains all the salient characteristics of the Metapave II concrete forms. If an equal item can be provided, it must be compatible and interchangeable with the Metapave II concrete forms. Location: Nellis AFB, NV No telephonic submissions. All product information shall be submitted at no cost or obligation to the government.
