- Request for Quotation (RFQ) with attached Statement of Work (SOW) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a further written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The RFQ form is attached. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. Referenced FAR clauses can be found at www.acquisition.gov. (iv) This synopsis/solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside under the NAICS 562213 for hazardous waste incineration. (v) This RFQ is for the destruction of hazardous materials from the Nogales, AZ area. The attached Statement of Work provides details. (vi) Specific requirements are outlined in the attached RFQ (HSBP1013Q0078). The result of this RFQ will be the establishment of a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract between the U.S. CBP agency and the service provider. (vii) Services will be requested via task orders for certain time periods on as needed basis. The exact date of any particular destruction event cannot be disclosed for security reasons. (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is included. The contract will be awarded to the vendor providing the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. (x) Please include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with any offer, unless already registered as active in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. (xi) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses cited by that clause are applicable and can be found in the attached RFQ. (xiii) All other terms and conditions can be found in the RFQ. (xiv) NO Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating has been assigned. (xv) Offers are due at 4:00 PM ET, April 8, 2013.
