Description
The Marine Forces Reserve, Regional Contracting Office, New Orleans, LA, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract for hotel rooms July 31 to August 13, 2013 in Seattle, WA to accommodate Marine Corps SPMGTF personnel in support of Marine Week Seattle 2013. Hotel accommodations are desired from specific hotels strategically located close to Seattle Center. The hotel facilities and lodging accommodations for this requirement include a total of 105 single occupancy rooms, 216 double occupancy rooms. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information; quotes are being requested and the written solicitation is attached. The required overall period of performance is from 31 July 2013 to 13 August 2013. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 721110. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web sites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. Please see the attached solicitation document for complete details. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in both the System for Award Management (SAM) database and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database and WAWF will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by accessing http://www.sam.gov/ and https://wawf.eb.mil/.
