Description

POP Undulator Dwg BNL Form 009 BNL Form 010 Sample Subcontracting Plan RFP, Specifications, Statement of Work, Quotation Pricing Sheet, Draft Contract Brookhaven National Laboratory requires the design and fabrication of a Helical Undulator Magnet Assembly (HU), which will be used in the coherent electron cooling (CeC) proof-of principal experiment to be installed into the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The electrical field of the electron beam leaving the undulators will accelerate or decelerate the corresponding ions and reduce the energy spread of the ion beam. The HU is the element of the experiment that provides the means for a beam of electrons to interact with the heavy ion beam.. If you will be responding to this solicitation, you must submit an email to jvolkmann@bnl.gov. acknowledging your participation by or before April 9, 2013. Responses to the solicitation are due in accordance with Section 3.1 of the RFP.
