- This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals this is only a pre-solicitation notice. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Fort Dix, New Jersey 08640-5000 intends to issue solicitation number W15QKN-13-T-5078 to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future for (4) four, Hampden Model H-PTC-1 Pulley Training Carts, brand name or equal. The Carts will be used to safely teach the mechanical advantage of pulley systems to students training in the recovery of mired or turned over vehicles on a vehicle recovery course. Salient characteristics will be provided in the solicitation. Other information: The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fbo.gov) when released. Quotes/Proposals will be due approximately 7 days after the actual Solicitation issuance date. Interested vendors will be required to submit their technical specifications with their quote. This is scheduled to be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 333923, size standard: 500 employees. Delivery: Delivery will be FOB Destination and will be provided in the solicitation. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information in the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be registered in SAM prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at https://www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Prior to quoting, it is preferred that vendors complete the Representations and Certifications information in SAM. If you do not complete the Reps and Certs in SAM, you will need to complete and provide the information in provision 52.212-3 in the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this equipment will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website.
