Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
 

Description

This shall be a Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The project falls under NAICS Code 236220, and has a Small Business Standard of $33.5 Million. The estimated price range for this project is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 respectively. The SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE BASE BID is as follows: Scope of Work: Project # 632-12-113. Repair and replace doors, floors, walls and ceilings at Building 11 Northport VAMC. Item 1 Base Bid- This requirement is to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision to Repair and Replace Doors, Floors, Walls, and Ceilings in Building 11- 1st and 2nd floors on the Northport VAMC Campus, the flooring area is approximately 1,000' square. The entrance door and frame shall be replaced, and 80' square feet of wall area needs re-plastering. Work shall include: 1.Entrance Door shall be removed (i.e. door, side lights, transom, and trim) and be replaced with a 48" inch fiberglass pre-hung door with 9 lights (swing as existing), bored for 93k best locking system (Government shall supply locking system) all trim and corbels interior and exterior shall be removed, exterior shall be replaced with AZEK material or approved equal. Interior shall be replaced with #1 pine. Doors shall be primed and painted, colors shall be selected by the Government 2.Kitchen and Exercise areas need floors leveled and replaced with new VCT floor tile; contractor shall install flooring over the top of existing floor tile. At the entrance way the existing floor tile shall be removed inside the kitchen and Exercise areas to a degree so as to slope down to match the flooring in the dining and recreation rooms so as to have no transition between the two floors, in the Exercise area there is a section of the exterior wall that needs to be scraped and repaired to a clean smooth finish primed and painted. Floor color shall be selected by the Government. 3.Open Porch area ceilings and flooring needs crumbling concrete to be chipped out and cleaned, area shall be pinned with wire installed, and new concrete shall be installed with a smooth flat finish. After concrete has cured an epoxy primer and paint shall be installed to all areas. Colors shall be selected by the Government. Completion Time of 30 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will be posted on March 1, 2013 and the anticipated closing date is April 1, 2013 at 2:00pm EST. The bid submittal address and time will be included in the solicitation. Bid submissions shall be in hardcopies and not e-mailed or faxed. This project requires the bidders/contractors to secure bonding. All bidders shall be registered and verified in the www.sam.gov, www.dnb.com/, www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/
