Description
MARKET RESEARCH FOR ALL QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES DUE BY 2:00 PM ON April 30, 2013. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. Please monitor FBO, this sources sought will not be linked to the solicitation. The General Services Administration (GSA), New England Region, North Service Center Branch, is conducting market research to determine if any Small Business sources including 8(a), HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned (EDWOSB), or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Small Businesses have the current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described herein. The primary NAICS code for this sources sought notice is 238290, Elevator Maintenance. The General Services Administration is considering consolidating Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services in 4 buildings in New Hampshire: JC Cleveland F.B in Concord, W.B Rudman Customhouse in Concord, Thomas J. McIntyre F.B. in Portsmouth, and the Norris Cotton F.B. in Manchester. The results of this Sources Sought Notice will be used to determine if there are any small businesses interested in the above services. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The following information is data from the 4 buildings: James C. Cleveland Concord, NH Number of Elevators:2 Max Number of Stops:6 Type:Geared Manufacturer: Westinghouse Warren B. Rudman Concord, NH Number of Elevators:11 Max Number of Stops:6 Type:Hydraulic Manufacturer:Bruce Southern Thomas J. McIntyre Portsmouth, NH Number of Elevators:2 Max Number of Stops:5 Type:Geared Manufacturer:Otis Norris Cotton Manchester, NH Number of Elevators:3 Max Number of Stops:10 Type:Gear/Traction Manufacturer:Montgomery This will be a Fixed Price Contract. The work will include routine scheduled maintenance and repair services, as well as emergency call-back services. Emergency call-back services will have a 60 minute response time. Contractors will be requested to submit an offer for the work as part of the award process. The contract will require that the Contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, management, and supervision to accomplish the work and it shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective completion of all services described within the Statement of Work. Contractors will be required to be insured prior to start of work. Please respond to the following questions by April 30, 2013. Failure to answer any of these questions will result in your firm not being considered as part of this market research. 1. Briefly, identify past experience which demonstrates that your firm is qualified to perform elevator maintenance and repair work in government facilities. Please include points of contact and telephone numbers. 2. If this procurement is set-aside for 8(a), HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned (EDWOSB), or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Small Business, which type of set-aside(s) will your firm be able to compete under? 3. Does your firm qualify to compete under a total small business set-aside under NAICS 238290, and if a total small business set-aside is conducted will your firm compete? 4. Is your firm registered in System for Award Management (SAM)? You must be registered in SAM to do business with the government.
