Description

DLA Energy - Aerospace intends to award this requirement as other than full and open competition under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source, as defined in FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(1) (ii) to Air Liquide Industrial, 2700 Post Oak Blvd., Suite 1800, Houston TX for the delivery of an estimated quantity of 1,888,000 MC (Pipeline), and 541 MC (Tube Bank Trailers) of Gaseous Nitrogen (GN2), Type I, Grade B, in accordance with MIL-PRF-27401F, Dated 10 Jan 2008. This will be a five year firm-fixed price requirements type contract. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations; however, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to Karen.harvey@dla.mil to be considered by the Government to make a determination that an equivalent service exists which would meet the Government's needs. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
