Description
Draft Flood Contract The St. Paul District of the Corps of Engineers is seeking interested contractors for potential construction of emergency levees or other emergency measures in response to flooding or the threat of flooding on the Souris River and its tributaries in North Dakota. In general any resulting contract will require the Contractor to provide the following: Equipment in good working condition; All labor necessary to operate said equipment; All fuel, lubricants and consumable supplies necessary to operate the equipment and keep it in good working order; Operators, mechanics and other labor to support operation of the equipment for 24 hours of operation per 24 hour calendar day, seven (7) days per week; All required bonds and insurance. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence operation of one, all, or any combination of the pieces of equipment identified in the resultant contract within 6 hours notice to the Contractor, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) perform the work required by this contract at the prices stated in the pricing schedule until the contractor is released from further performance by the Contracting Officer. Interested vendors should submit a list of available equipment and their associated hourly rates.
