- U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS DESIRES TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield approximately (3700) usable square feet within the Congressional District, geographical area encompassing Elizabeth NJ 07207 for use as a Veterans Outreach Clinic. The space will require at a minimum the following: Elizabeth Community Based Outpatient Space Requirement: 3700 SF not to exceed 3700 SF The space must meet or be able to meet the Department of Veterans Affairs Life Safety codes and other applicable regulations. A lease for five (5) years with an option to renew for an additional one (5) year option period will be considered. All commercial office space within the surrounding area of 654 East Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07207 will be considered. A market survey of the properties offered will be conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is important to note that the Department of Veterans Affairs will be evaluating the costs associated with relocating its existing clinic. It must be demonstrated that it is in the Government's best interest to relocate.
