- USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Meteorological Connections, LLC (METCON), 805 Shadden Road, Gray TN, 37615-4243. This is a procurement for observed and modeled weather data for ongoing assessments of potential flooding conditions, river flows, snow accumulations, snow melt, snow depths, and other weather influenced activities. METCON is the only company able to provide the continuation of the required services. METCON's expertise is required to continue providing the tailored products and accuracy ERDC requires to meet the dynamic physical and statistical modeling development currently being used for contingency planning and natural disaster support. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a). This will be a noncommercial acquisition per FAR 15. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 12:00 PM CST, Friday, May 10, 2013.
