Description

LEvEL ONE MATERIAL The Defense Logistics Agency, Contracting Division, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price for Level One material, Elbow 20" NPS, BUTTWELD and a Pipe, 20" NPS which will be required by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, in Portsmouth, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332919 (Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing) and the procurement will be set aside for small businesses. The contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001: Elbow, 20" Level One NPS X Schedule 60, BUTTELD 90 DEGREE 2 each. CLIN 0002: Level 1 Certification CLIN 0003: Pipe, 20" Level One 20" NPS X Schedule 60, 25feet. CLIN 0004: Level 1 Certification The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-13-Q-L011. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or around 25 April 2013 at the following website: HTTP://WWW.FBO.GOV. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at www.fedbizopps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledge the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the system for award management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of Registration in the CCR Database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
