- PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 0736133714. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811111 - General Automotive Repair. This solicitation is set aside for 100% small business. Item# Part # Manufacturer Description Qty 1 Maintenance Services for (2) Peterbilt Base of Operations Vehicles, (3) Kenworth Medium Squad Trucks, (1) Kenworth Light and Air Unit, (1) Peterbilt 387 Tractor Truck, (1) Peterbilt Box Truck, all powered with Caterpillar Engines 1 Minimum Salient Technical Requirements: The following minimum salient specifications shall be met for all proposed products. 1. Vendor Must be able to perform the following a. Preventative Maintenance i. Oil Change ii. Replace filters, oil, fuel, air, as needed iii. As needed preventative maintenance as per manufacturer's specifications, but not less than a maintenance interval of twice per calendar year. b. Inspection of lights, tires, belts, hoses, fluids, batteries, and brakes c. Annual Virginia State safety inspection d. Firmware and software updates for the Engines e. Replacement of Normal wear/tear items f. Other emergency repairs as required and authorized 2. Due to the complexity of the computer controlled diesel engines Vendor facility must be a Caterpillar Factory Authorized Service center and (provide evidence of authorization). 3. Vendor must have Master ASE Technicians (Must provide proof of certification with quote) 4. Vendor must provide maintenance and emergency repairs 24 hours a day 365 days a year anywhere within the national capital region. 5. Vendor must be located within 10 Miles of zip code 22406 6. Vendor must propose hourly rates Shipping Instructions: Shipping under this requirement shall be FOB destination. Items shall be delivered to Fredericksburg, VA. Submission Instructions Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Montarious usher at montarious.usher@IC.FBI.GOV. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before May 17, 2013 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ 0736133714." All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to Montarious Usher via email. Quotes shall include a point of contact (including phone number, fax number and email address), contractor DUN's number and TIN number. ALL QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 60 DAYS. Ensure your firm is registered in System for Award Management (SAM) - All vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012 to receive government contracts. In addition, the FBI will be using a new financial system on 10/01/2013 that has a direct interface with the SAM. If any current FBI vendor data conflicts with SAM Data, the information contained in SAM may override our current information on 10/01/2013. Please ensure that your company's SAM information updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, DUNs, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization This solicitation incorporates several clauses by reference.
