Description: This notice is provided to inform all potential candidates to provide bids at this time for the Ambulatory Surgery Minor Construction Project. The Veterans Integrated Service Network #04 (VISN 04) Contracting Office / Erie Veteran Administration Medical Center issues the attached Invitation for Bid (IFB) and intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for Construction Services related to the Construction of the Ambulatory Surgery Minor Building project located a the Erie VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie PA 16504. All construction must be in compliance with applicable codes, VA policy/standards, and the terms of this contract. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for construction of the Ambulatory Surgery Building project as indicated in drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading drainage, necessary removal of existing structures. Proposals are due 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on July 09, 2013 in accordance with the attached solicitation. A Site Visit is planned for Monday June 17, 2013 at 10:00 am EST. Meeting will be held in the Main Hospital Building, Conference Room #3. All candidates arriving for the site visit MUST check in with the Security Office located in the entrance to the Emergency Care Clinic. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100 % SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, with a small business size standard of $33.5 million in annual receipts for the past three years. The Magnitude of Construction cost is between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00.
