Description

FAR CLAUSES Questionaire and Past Performance Sheet This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG29-13-Q-3JM397. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007. This acquisition is restricted. The NAICS is 562211. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work / or / quotes for the attached items. Statement of Work: Clean 250 gallon parts washer. Dispose of industrial waste from the parts washer and refill the parts washer with COMS NDL 75AQ/6365 cleaner. 1. The U.S Coast Guard has a requirement for cleaning 250 gallon parts washer at the U.S Coast Guard ISA New Orleans, New Orleans, LA. The Base Year contract will start at the Fourth Quarter of Fiscal Year 2013; with two option years. 2. IF you are interested in submitting a quote, please review the enclosed documents. All submittals must be completed and forwarded to this office for consideration of your offer. 3. If you have any questions, pertaining to the Statement of Work, they should be submitted in writing to lynn.p.charles@uscg.mil or kamal.o.packer@uscg.mil. Questions should be received no later than June 17, 2013. Please use the contractor's request for clarification form. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Services are included in this order and are applicable. 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 60 days. 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 60 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. Vendors doing business with the Coast Guard must be registered or be willing to register with the Systems for Award Management at www.sam.gov.
