- Sustainment Spares Initial Spares The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company North America (EADS-NA), 2550 Wasser Terrace Suite 9000 Herndon, VA 20171, for the Coast Guard's Medium Range Surveillance Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) HC-144A initial and sustainment parts. The HC-144A MPA is an EADS / Airbus Military CN235-300M. The list of MPA spare parts, as well as the maximum quantities to be purchased under this sole source action is attached (see Attachments: Reference A and Reference B). Companies that believe they have the capability to deliver the listed spare parts must submit a capability statement detailing how the company can deliver the spare parts given. Only the exact part numbers listed in the schedule will be accepted. This requirement is restricted to authorized sources of the OEM or firms who can effectively demonstrate their ability to provide the components and obtain the proprietary data required meeting form, fit, and function of the units and written documentation that traces the manufacturing data of each component to the OEM. Sources must be able to provide necessary certifications including a Certificate of Conformance and/or FAA 8130-3. The capability statement shall also include the company's Dun and Bradstreet number, a brief discussion of any previous experience similar to this requirement, and a point of contact in the event the Coast Guard requires additional information. Please reference Solicitation HSCG23-13-I-MPA001. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. Proposals submitted based on this notice will not be accepted. Capability statements received prior to the closing date and time will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is possible. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to award a firm fixed price, sole source contract and a written solicitation will not be issued.
