- Lead Acid Population Draft PWS release Dmd last 3 years for lead acid batteries Dmd FMS last 3 years for lead acid batteries 5 YR PO History discussed in notice 6/18/13 Update: DLA Land and Maritime is currently looking to set up an initiative for supply chain management support of batteries. DLA Land and Maritime will be starting with the Lead Acid chemistry first with Lithium-Ion to follow on shortly thereafter and then finish up with rest of the chemistries. DLA Land and Maritime has provided for your review in preparation to the Industry Outreach Forum scheduled for 25 June 2013, the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), potential scope of lead-acid batteries, demand information for the last three years, demand information related to FMS procurements for the last three years and the last five years of purchase order history. Again, these documents and acquisition strategy will be discussed at the upcoming DLA Land and Maritime Industry Outreach Forum that will be at DLA Land and Maritime on 25 June 2013. The 1st attachment contains the list of NSNs that DLA Land and Maritime is looking to cover on this initiative. This is subject to change but this is the tentative population. The 2nd attachment contains the FMS demand information for the Lead Acid population for the last three years. This will show the number of times that the item received a FMS demand over the last three years. It also contains the total quantity that was sought as well. The 3rd attachment contains the demand information for the Lead Acid population over the last three years. This will show the number of times that the item received a demand over the last three years and the total quantity that was sought. The 4th attachment contains the Performance Work Statement draft. The final attachment contains the purchase order history for the last five years. This will show the item, contract/purchase order number, award date, purchase order unit of measure, purchase order value, Customer Direct, DLA Direct, and company that received the award. Additionally, any questions regarding the attached information, please submit your question in writing to DLA.Land.and.Maritime.Battery.PBL@dla.mil no later than 21 June 2013, 5:00 PM EST.
