Description
AC Kit items and part numbers Changes to the solicitation deadline This solicitation has been extended to 15 July 2013 at 3:00 p.m., PST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The number is FA9302-13-M-K029. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005- 66 (Effective 1 April 2013) and DFARs Publication Notice (DPN) 20130522 (Effective 22 May 2013) Edition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, most technically acceptable offer that meets the requirement. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 336390 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The 412th MXG Maintenance Squadron has a REQUIREMENT for after-market Air Conditioning Kits for Ford pick-up trucks. REQUIREMENTS: One kit shall include all parts and accessories ready for installation to fit the following vehicles: 1. Ford Super Duty AC Kit, 2007 (One w/ 5.4L engine, One w/ 6.4L engine)- Quantity: 2 ea. 2. Ford Super Duty AC Kit, 2003 (6.0L engine) - Quantity: 3 ea. 3. Ford Super Duty AC Kit, 2006 (6.0L engine) - Quantity: 6 ea. A parts list of items included in AC Kits is included with this combined synopsis/solicitation as Attachment #2. Total Quantity: 11 ea. SPECIFICATIONS: All trucks are F-350 models. All trucks have Diesel engines. Each vehicle requires a dash mounted air conditioning unit installed to factory specifications. All trucks have existing dash ports for installation of these units. ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted no later than 8 July 2013, 3:00 p.m. PST. Questions not received by the Submission Deadline will not be considered*** For a full description of this combined synopsis/solicitation, please see Attachment #1.
