This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. II.Solicitation number G13PS00530 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). III. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. IV. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business participation, IAW FAR 19.502-2. The applicable NAICS code is 441120 (Used Car Dealers) and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $23 million. V. Quotations must be valid for 120 days after submission. VI. The USGS Fort Collins Science Center, Guam field site, Guam requires 1 (one) multi-passenger vehicle with the following requirements: 1. A 2wd double-cab pickup truck in order to transport large bulky equipment. 2. To minimize expense and vehicle downtime associated with maintenance of older vehicles, we are specifying a vehicle of model year 2009 or newer with less than 50,000 miles. 3. Fuel economy rating of 16 MPG (city) or better. 4. Automatic transmission and air conditioning. VII. Shipping Destination: P.O. The Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process will be used. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible concern whose quote conforming to the solicitation has the lowest overall evaluated price inclusive of shipping. To be acceptable for award, the quoted product must meet or exceed the characteristics listed in item VI above. XI.
