- SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION MEMO Notice of Intent The 802d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price purchase order to AAALAC International of 5283 Corporate Drive STE 203, Frederick, MD 21703 to renew AAALAC Accreditation. AAALAC accreditation is required IAW DODI 3216.01 and AAALAC International is the only company authorized to provide the said accreditation. The proposed contract action of services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor solicitations for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 business days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the point of contacts.
