Description
Attachment # 1 - Mi17-35 Equipment and Tooling Requirements Draft SOW - Mi-17 PEH Facility June 26 2013 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY FR PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. ALL DOCUMENTS ARE DRAFT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). The General Services Administration (GSA) is partnering with the U.S. Army's Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) to procure Mi-17/35 Helicopter Trainers, Training Boards, Training Aids, and supporting equipment to support a Mi-17/35 training mission in Afghanistan. The requirement is further identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and list of required equipment (Attachment #1). The list of equipment currently lists specific part numbers and manufacturers; however; any future RFP will identify the material as "Brand Name of Equal" and provide additional performance descriptions. Due the numerous items on the list of equipment, the government is providing a rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimate of $2M to $4M dollars (this ROM is specifically for the list of equipment on Attachment #1) and is provided to portray to prospective vendors the level of effort required to procure these numerous items. The Mi-17/35 trainers, training aids, and training broads are to be delivered to Afghanistan NLT six (6) months after receipt of order. The list of supporting equipment is to be delivered to Huntsville, AL NLT three (3) months after receipt of order. The government at this time is requesting the following from prospective vendors: 1. An affirmation of interest and capability to perform the entire requirement. This should be provided to the government in the form of a capabilities statement. 2. Prospective vendors are free to ask questions and provide comments/suggestions on the requirement documents. The government is currently in the process of revising these documents and the government welcomes feedback. Question may or may not be answered at this time, but all data submitted will be considered in the on-going acquisition planning process. All responses should be remitted to Jason C. Heddy at jason.heddy@gsa.gov.
