Description
Request for Information VA119-13-I-0025-A00001 Questions & Answers June 27, 2013 As a result of receiving questions concerning the Request for Information (RFI) VA119-13-I-0025, an amendment VA119-13-I-0025-A00001 is issued with answers as noted below: 1.Question: Reference paragraph. 3.0, 8.:Contractor will demonstrate the ability to provide VAMC facilities drawings, blue prints, and schematics; related to the setup, installation and operation of selected on-site treatment equipment needed to provide on-site treatment services. Are drawings to be stamped? If so, as in most federal contracts, certifications are not restricted to the state or territory? Answer: The drawings will only require a date/time stamp. This RFI is for informational purposes only and will not need to be certified by an Architect or Engineer. 2.Question: Reference paragraph. 3.0, 9.:Contractor will demonstrate the ability to provide the VAMC with information regarding any needed site preparations, space requirements ¦. Does the VA intend to provide any space parameters or restrictions for on-site space requirements? Or, is this to be addressed on a per facility basis? Answer: Specifications will be provided by the Medical Center at the individual order level. 3.Question: Reference paragraph. 3.0, 10.: Contractor will demonstrate the ability to provide the VAMC with information regarding the utilities needed to operate and maintain selected on-site treatment equipment needed to provide on-site treatment services. Is there a limit to the utilities that are accessible, or is this a case by case basis? Answer: Specifications will be provided by the Medical Center at the individual order level. 4.Question: Who is the incumbent? Answer: No incumbent. No change to the closing date. Submissions are due no later than July 9, 2013 by 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. All responses shall be emailed to sonja.johnson3@va.gov.
