Description
SCOPE OF WORK STA TAWAS VERTICAL HYDRONIC FAN COIL UNIT DISCREP. 1.1 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT: • To replace in kind seven vertical hydronic fan coil units and plumb in drain line for two horizontal hydronic fan coil units at USCG Station Tawas. 1.2 REFERENCES: http://www.iec-okc.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx 1.3 DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE COMPLETED: • Secure HVAC system electrically and mechanically and drain system of water and glycol. • Replace seven International Environmental Corporation, Model# FX402BYYC2R5CXX vertical hydronic fan coil units and plumb in drain lines for two horizontal hydronic fan coil units, Model# CXW03AYYC2R5CXX. • Replace any broken or missing hardware. To include but not limited to piping, pipe fittings, and mounts. • Replace water glycol mix back in secured system. Ensure proper glycol % is added and used. Additional glycol may be needed. • Test HVAC system for proper function. 2.1 SITE VISIT: Those who desire access to Station Tawas for bidding or work are to contact MK1 Christopher Lamb. Once awarded the job, contractors are to arrange time and days for work to be accomplished after receiving notification from the U.S. Coast Guard Contracting Officer to proceed. 3.1 MILITARY REGULATION: The contractor, his employees and sub contractors shall become familiar with and obey all station regulations. 3.2 All personnel employed on the project shall keep within the limits of the work and avenues of ingress and egress. Personnel shall not enter any other areas outside the site of work unless required to do so in the performance of their duties and have obtained verbal permission from MK1 Christopher Lamb or the Officer of the Day. 3.3 The contractor's equipment shall be conspicuously marked for identification. 3.4 There shall be no smoking in any Coast Guard building and only in designated areas. 4.1 WORK HOURS: The contractor shall perform all site work during the normal operation hours, 0700-1600 Mon-Fri except during federal holidays. 4.2 Any deviations from normal working hours will be discussed with MK1 Christopher Lamb and agreed upon by all parties concerned. 5.1 LABORER WAGES: Quote must reflect hourly wages prescribed by the Department of Labor in the attached Wage Determination Document. 6.1CLEAN UP OF WORK AREA: The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and debris pertaining to the contract work from the limits of government property, as well as adjacent affected areas. 6.2Disposal of HAZ MAT shall be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations 7.1ACCEPTANCE OF WORK: Prior to the acceptance of work by the Coast Guard the contractor shall arrange through MK1 Christopher Lamb a review of work completed to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up.
