- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSAL AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This sources sought is issued for the purposes of Market Research and to determine the appropriate Small Business Sourcing Strategy for this acquisition. The anticipated solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, has a requirement to expand its TeleICU system. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine small business availability to offer Telecommunication carts with bidirectional video; ICU room kits to include but not limited to ceiling speakers, audio/video server, camera, alert button, and microphone; and installation. These systems must be compatible with Philips eCareManager software. VISN 23 requires the necessary audio/visual equipment that will equip the rooms with telecommunication carts, cameras, microphones, speakers, and monitors necessary for implementing a virtual ICU. This audio/visual equipment will be used for bidirectional communication from each bedside to a virtual ICU core located at the Minneapolis VA HCS. The statement of capabilities should include: 1.Firm name, address, e-mail, telephone and fax numbers 2.Small business certification - 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran or Women-owned. 3.Past Experience - describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this Sources Sought. a.Provide a listing of three (3) most recent projects your firm has performed. 4.Your firms Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) 5.System for Award Management (SAM) registered NAICS Codes. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed Christopher.Volk@va.gov. All responses must be received no later than July 8, 2013.
