- Gearshaft, multiple gears DESCRIPTION: NSN 3040-00-475-0058 - "Gearshaft, Multiple Gears" being bought in accordance with: Eastern Gear (23715) P/N 1-080-310-01 Triumph Gear (57152) P/N 1-080-310-01 Honeywell International (99193) P/N 1-080-310-01 Critical Safety Item - see complete item description attached Contractor First Article Testing required Acquisition Requirement - Acquisition must be from the source(s) cited above; or from Dealer/Distributor offering the exact product (CAGE and Part Number) from the source(s) cited above and who has furnished required and acceptable traceability documentation prior to award. The traceability documentation must show that the dealer/distributor will purchase the part from an approved source and that their purchase order will include all CSI quality requirements and critical characteristics. Based on market research, this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The required quantity is 150 each; to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA, 17070-5002. FOB destination and inspection & acceptance at destination are required. This is a UNRESTRICED solicitation and is not set-aside for small business. This solicitation will be available at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about 07/18/2013. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The required delivery for 150 each is 345 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. Notice: This solicitation contains DLAD Provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
