- SLAC seeks vendors that can provide the following: (1) 1 EACH BRAND NAME OR EQUAL: COHERENT P/N: 1206864, Vitara-T Laser System with Synchrolock Actuators. System shall include a broadband seed oscillator, regenerative amplifier with DPSS pump laser, and two (2) Evolution HE pump lasers. Specifications include: Optical Specifications of the Oscillator: • Output power: 525mW at 800nm at minimum bandwidth. • Bandwidth: < 30nm to > 125nm. • Tuning range: 755nm to 860nm at minimum bandwidth setting • Repetition rate: 68MHz • locking bandwidth of the transducer must exceed 10kHz • RMS timing jitter should be less than 200fs • Frequency noise: 0.1% RMS measured from 10 Hz to 10 MHz Specifications of the Regenerative amplifier and its pump laser: • The front end amplifier shall be a CPA amplifier based on Ti:Sapphire incorporating a stretcher optimized for a pulse width of 0.5ps to 1.5ps • Its DPSSQ-switch pump laser shall be integrated in the Regen enclosure. • A Regenerative z-type cavity thermally stabilized with a slab rod design using water cooling • A High Contrast Pulse Slicer stage using large aperture Pockels cells with Faraday cages around them • The 0.5 ps to 1.5 ps compressor that matches the stretcher inside the Regen enclosure shall be in a separate external enclosure Optical specifications of the Regenerative amplifier: • Output energy: 3.5mJ. • Wavelength: 760nm. • Repetition rate: 120Hz. • Pulse width: 0.5ps to 1.5ps • Energy stability: <1% rms • Pointing stability: <10microrad rms • Beam quality: TEM00 and M2<1.3. Optical Specifications of the Pump Laser: • Wavelength: 527nm • Energy per pulse: >20mJ at 1kHz • Energy stability: <1% rms. • Average power: 30W at 5kHz • Closed loop chiller with water cooled condenser Third Harmonic generation module: • The third harmonic package shall employ collinear mixing in SHG and THG BBO crystals. • The SHG and THG BBO crystals included in the package shall be optimized for picosecond operation. • The THG module shall have its own enclosure. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. VENDORS INTERESTED IN BEING CONSIDERED AS A POTENTIAL SOURCE SHOULD IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS AN "INTERESTED PARTY" VIA THE FBO PORTAL.
