Description

Notice of Intent to Sole-Source This announcement is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract under the requirements of FAR Part 15 and FAR 6.302-1, "Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source" The applicable NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of 19 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Benefits Administration, Eastern Area Contracting Team intends to award a sole source contract to Bell & Howell, LLC for a quarterly preventative maintenance agreement and maintenance on the Guidepath for all MailMobile IV that delivers mail to various workstations on each floor. They are located at the Philadelphia Department of Veteran Affairs, 5000 Wissahickon Ave, Philadelphia, PA, 19144. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals. No solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide these services are encouraged to identify themselves and submit a capability statement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
