Description
Layberth Services U.S. East or Gulf Coast The purpose of this Market Survey is to identify sources that are capable of providing a berth and layberth services for two (any class) Large, Medium-Speed, Roll-On/Roll-Off ships (LMSRs). LMSRs may be layberthed in a nested or un-nested configuration. The layberth facility must be capable of delivering reimbursable services including steam, potable water, electricity, and telephone services. The characteristics of the classes of ships are included with this survey. Specifics are as follows: 1. PORT: U.S. East or Gulf Coast 2. MISSION: Layberth Facilities & Services for two LMSRs 3. CONTRACT STYLE: Firm-Fixed Price w / Reimbursable Elements 4. COMMENCMENT: 01 October 2013 5. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base Period of One Year with Four One-Year Option Periods 6. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: a) Name of company; b) POC, Telephone Number, Fax Number, Address, and e-mail address (if available); c) Brief summary of company history relative to similar requirements; d) General specifications relative to similar requirements e) Estimated daily cost of the layberth facility per LMSR; the fixed priced cost shall include a security perimeter with 24 hour guard service, sewage and garbage disposal for two ships, and parking for a minimum of 40 vehicles; f) Small business standing (i.e., small or large business; HubZone status); g) Please state which class(es) of LMSRs your facility is able to accommodate. h) Businesses responding to the survey must: i. Small Business - demonstrate how 51% of the contract effort will be performed ii. All - provide evidence of sufficient resources to meet obligations prior to invoicing under the contract iii. All - provide a finance plan for providing necessary facilities/resources to meet contract requirements 7.
