Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to MTS Systems Corporation (MTS) at 14000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-2290. The purchase order is for providing MTS equipment maintenance and service under a maintenance and service agreement. MTS is the manufacturer of the equipment. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 423490. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide a maintenance and service support services for MTS equipment must submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within ten (5) days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
