- Description
- Parallel reactor system for catalyst evaluation, suitable for gas and trickle flow operations •· Flexibility for wide range of projects; gas/vapor phase and trickle flow applications. •· Trickle phase applications: concurrent gas /liquid flow through a fixed bed reactor. Liquid product will be collected for each individual reactor. •· 16 parallel reactors, 4 heater blocks with 4 reactors, allowing operating 4 sets of 4 reactors at different operational temperatures •· Reactors should be modular with simple access to the assembled reactor system to facilitate rapid and efficient exchange of catalysts, cleaning of system, and routine maintenance •· Short turnaround between experiments (no systemic leak test required...) •· Ability to feed and manifold seven different gases, with a possible extension for a eighth gas, and a tube to tube deviation <2% •· Ability to feed two different liquids including direct injection of liquid onto catalyst bed with a tube to tube deviation <5% •· Ability to flow gases with a GHSV up to 50,000 h -1 •· Ability to flow liquids with a LHSV of 1-25 h -1 •· Catalyst bed volume of 0.03 - 0.19 mL •· Operating temperature range of 50-900°C •· Isothermal bed length of 6-cm at 500°C (max. temperature difference of ±1°C) and 1-2-cm at 900°C (max. temperature difference of ±1.5°C) •· Disposable reactors to avoid cross-contamination between experiments •· Heating ramp rate of 0.1-10°C/min •· Operating pressure of 14.5 - 1160 psig •· Ability to separate out gas and liquid streams in effluent via a "knock out", at near atmospheric pressure. •· Effluent lines and sample selection valve able to be heated to 120°C; transfer line to gas chromatograph up to 200°C
