Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN; intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with the Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., Johnson and Johnson, 100 Indigo Creek Drive, Rochester, NY 14650. The contract will be for Product Code 719610 SELECTOGEN ®, Product Code 719210 AFFIRMAGEN ®, Product Code 719810 ORTHO ® Coombs Control, Product Code 6902315 0.8% SELECTOGEN ®, Product Code 6902317 0.8% RESOLVE ® Panel A, Product Code 6902318 0.8% RESOLVE ® Panel B. NAICS Code 325413. A contract for the period 10-1-13 through 9-30-14 is anticipated. Interested parties have until August 16, 2013, 4:00 pm CST to submit in writing their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after 4:00 pm CST, August 16, 2013 or without sufficient information to enable the Government to determine that a firm is qualified and capable to perform contract requirements, will be deemed nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Subject to Availability of Funds, FAR 52.232-18. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
