Description

This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Homeless Emergency Project, Inc. 1120 N Betty LN, Clearwater, Florida 33755-3303, pursuant to FAR PART 6.302-1(a) (2), only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirements. The Department of Veteran's Affairs Bay Pines Healthcare System, Saint Petersburg, Florida intents to award a contract for "Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) to a quality contractor. This contract will be for one year, twelve (12) month period of performance with the possibility of four (4) optional years. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by closing date, Friday, August 30, 2013, 2:00 PM EST by e-mail to lisa.nooner@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
