Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00124-13-T-0356 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). It is the intent of the Naval War College to award a sole source contract to the Navy Exchange Service Command, dba NEXCOM, for the final design, printing and distribution of a two page full-color brochure encouraging participation in the Chief of Naval Operations Professional Reading Program. Approximately 800,000 copies of this brochure will be inserted into the larger Navy Exchange marketing flyer that will be distributed to authorized Navy exchange customers world-wide. Design work and design approval will be completed in September to meet an October advertising deadline. The associated NAICS code and small business size standard is 323111 and 500 employees. The clauses and provisions incorporated in this document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 – effective 01Aug2013 and DFARS Parts current to DPN 20130710.
