THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUISITION FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This is a market research tool to determine the availability of sources prior to RFQ. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on the response received to this notice. The Government is not responsible for the cost associated with any effort expended in responding to this notice. All small businesses are encouraged to respond. Upon review of industry responses to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of a full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. It is the Governments intention if the solicitation is issued to award a stand/alone contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 337910 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. The Roanoke VA Regional Office, VR&E Division has a requirement for a ONE (1) Brand Name Mattress System that will be provided to a Veteran under the VR&E Program. The specific mattress is manufactured by Serta, iComfort Series, Genius - Split King with Serta Split Adjustable Base. Residential Delivery and Inside Installation is required at Veteran's residence located in Williamsburg, VA 23185. Vendor must be a Serta Authorized Dealer/Reseller and able to provide Residential Delivery and Inside Installation. Interested vendors must contact the Contracting Officer with the following information: (1) full name and address of the firm; (2) name of principals (including title, telephone numbers); (3) copy of any certifications (if 8(a) certified, provide the SBA Business Opportunity Specialist name and phone number assigned); HUB Zone certification, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) status, and SDVOSB or VOSB status (CVE Certification) or Small Business status; (4) DUNS number and CAGE Code.
