- Description
- The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Marine Operations Center - Pacific (MOC-P) has a requirement for drydock repairs to the NOAA Vessel HI'IALAKAI. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and services necessary to perform drydock repairs, except as noted in the Statement of Work. All work will be performed at the successful contractor's facility. The resulting contract will have a period of performance from approximately October 6, 2013 through January 15, 2014. The proposed basic contract line items include: vessel dry docking, underwater inspection and repairs, ABS inspections, preservation of underwater body, zinc replacement, sea valve repairs, cleaning and polishing of the propellers, ground tackle inspection and repairs, CAT 398 engine overhauls, repairs to the bow thruster lube oil drain piping, cleaning of the galley ventilation systems, preservation of the freeboard, installation of anti-biofouling systems, installation of oily water separator discharge piping, servicing of tank vents, cleaning of the main generator and propulsion motor cooling piping, cleaning and testing of main engine heat exchanges, dock and sea trials, utilities and services for the basic contract, cleaning of protective coverings, and weight control. Proposed basic line items are for informational purposes only and are subject to change. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Any resulting contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or about August 29, 2013 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [Add to Watch List] and [Add Me to Interested Vendors] features which provide notification of when the solicitation becomes available for download and all additional information associated with this solicitation, thereafter. The estimated response due date is September 27, 2013; however, the actual response date will be stated within the solicitation document.
