- The United States Army Contracting Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (ACC-APG) intends to issue a new sole source firm-fixed-price contract for software maintenance support and licensing of Procurement Request Web software for the term of one year to CACI Enterprise Solutions, Inc. located at 4114 Legato Road, Fairfax, VA 22033-4002, in support of the Enterprise Business Systems Directorate, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Procurement (DASA(P)). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR6.302-1: only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. CACU is the incumbent on the current contract providing these services. PRWeb is currently being utilized to support Army pre-award and award contracting efforts to create electronic purchase requests while this functionality is being transitioned to the GFEBS system. CACI owns the data rights to this software program, which is the only software fully compatible with the current contract writing requirements. This synopsis is not a request for proposals.
