FBO NOTICE VA259-13-I-0873 TYPE: Sources Sought NAICS:541711; Research and Development in Biotechnology SBA Size Standard: 500 Employees PSC:6640 This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of market research only. This notice is not a solicitation. Responses to this notice will not be evaluated for award. Responses will only be utilized to survey the marketplace and determine the availability of this service. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA, NCO19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing the DNA genotyping assays: Veracode Golden Gate genotyping platform from Illumina, Inc. for the DNA sequences as specified in the attachment to this notice for the VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System Research Service. All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to provide this item. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. The request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain the potential market capacity. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization. Please provide documentation of the size of your business. The NAICS code is 541711 Research and Development in Biotechnology and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. If you are classified as a small business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business and/or SBA 8(a) certified small business, please provide this information in addition to your capability statement for acquisition strategy determination.
