- Drawings Specifications RFQ This work effort is being solicited for all certified small business contractors under NAICS code 238120 with a size standard of $14.0M. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking all eligible business firms capable of completing the required Building 114 Column Repairs at the Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.; RFP# N40085-13-Q-1360. Estimated contract value: Between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful Contractor will be required to submit the appropriate bonding information at time of award. The acquisition will be processed using procedures in accordance with FAR part 15. Description of Work: The project objective is to shore up the existing roof and roof trusses and the existing column. Remove the existing column base pier and prepare the area and column footer as required. Install a new column base pier and reinstall the existing column onto the new pier. This project has an expected Period of Performance of 155 calendar days after the date of Contract Award. Solicitation Info: This will be a firm fixed price Construction type contract. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required for the PDF file, can be downloaded from the adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is via the internet and the address is http://www.neco.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the Navy Exchange Commerce Online (NECO) website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. In accordance with the provision found at FAR 52.204-99 (DEVIATION) - System for Award Management Registration (August 2012) (DEVIATION), all potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database. Lack of registration in the SAM database on the part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. All contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
