- CCTV plans 3rd floor CCTV plans 2nd floor CCTV Plans 1st floor Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Installation of CCTV. Bldg 1356, Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI Synopsis: This work effort is being solicited for all certified small business contractors under NAICS Code 561621 with a size standard of $19.0M, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking all eligible business firms capable of completing the Installation of a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) for building surveillance and imaging applications throughout Building 1356, Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI; RFP# N40085-13-T-1316. Estimated contract value: Between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful Contractor will be required to submit the appropriate bonding information at time of award. The acquisition will be processed using procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. Description of Work: The project objective is to provide CCTV for building surveillance and imaging applications throughout Building 1356. The CCTV system shall be complete, usable and record any activity that takes place within the interior corridors, stair wells, exits, quarterdeck entrances, mailroom, admin access doors and any activity that takes place at the exterior of the building at two quarterdeck entrances, two parking lots, loading dock and exterior stair. The CCTV system must cover full length of each berthing wing and the central connecting passageway and include monitoring of each deck of 6 stairwells. The project has an expected Period of Performance of 105 calendar days after the date of Contract Award. Solicitation Info: This will be a firm fixed price Construction type contract. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required for the PDF file, can be downloaded from the adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the Navy Exchange Commerce Online (NECO) website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. In accordance to the provisions found at FAR 52.204-99 (DEVIATION) - System for Award Management Registration (August 2012) (DEVIATION), all potentials offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database. Lack of registration in the SAM database on the part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. All contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
